Dark Light

What are we up against really… a virus? Something so small that’s even non-existing, something we can’t even see, hear, touch, taste, or smell, but it is killing the life force inside us. The virus is wanting to live and grow; it doesn’t care whether the host is dying. The virus is spreading out its empire in the entire world.

What has it done to us, our lives, economy, social and political system? Virtually everything is locked down, and we are on house arrest in our small or big confined places. The integrated health care system is at the toll, everything is at risk, and the future is probably uncertain.

Fear is in the air instead of pollution and uncertainties replacing riots. Thus the virus is evil… isn’t it? We should oppose the vicious virus and get it; wouldn’t that be a great triumph?

Wait, someone said that humans are the virus on earth – without humans, the earth is getting cleaner, pollution is clearing up, and nature is recovering. Essentially, some say humans and viruses are the same. But I’m afraid I have to disagree. Same class viruses don’t kill their own, but humans kill each other. The virus doesn’t classify based on colors, cast, or religion, but we humans do. After all, bloody viruses don’t have super brains, and over-intelligence like we humans do! Are we really destroying the earth, like a virus destroys its host? 😉

If we go back to historical stories, we have angry and revengeful Deities or Gods who wanted to kill the whole humankind (like in the stories of Utnapishtim and Noah) by bringing the earth to justice by washing the lifeforms off through a big flood, and a few survived.

More parents are with their kids than being in offices or bars. Ventilators have become more significant than nuclear weapons. Basics like ‘washing our hands’ are taught again than AI/machine learning. People are looking inwards out of the tedium. More and more are following news than any religions or leaders. We are becoming conscious of the fragility of our existence when summoned by something literally non-existing.

An avatar is a form of a deity on earth, for good or bad, I am naming it Corona Avatar.
